My story

Last Saturday night, Beth invited Elaine to go to a concert. They met each other outside the concert hall. They were on time. Suddenly, Elaine saw a boy who was very dirty and weak. They walked forward to that boy.
'Would you give me some money, miss?'
'Why are you so poor? Where's your parents?' Elaine talked to that boy.
'My dad died. My mother was sick. I don't have any food to eat.' The little boy cried.
'He is very dirty. Let's go away!' Beth said very slowly and murmured.
'No! He is very poor.'
'Hey, boy! Here's some money. Buy some food to your mother and you.' Elaine said.
'Thank you. You are very nice.' said the little boy.
'Let's go to see the concert!' Elaine and Beth smiled with each other.

Why does Jo get angry?

Jo gets angry very often because Amy has burnt Jo's book. However, Amy doesn't say sorry to Jo. If I was Jo, I will be very angry, too!

Urban and suburban areas

Urban areas are very noisy. In the urban areas, there are some buildings. People always go to company by cars. In the suburban areas, there are just few cars in the roads. And there are many houses. I think I will have a comfortable life if I live in suburban areas.

Comparative and Superlative adjective

The text comes from the link of Mr.Woo's blog. We use comparative adjectives to describe and compare two things. We add "er" after the one or two sounds's adjectives. "Jiro is taller than Yukio." this sentence is comparing their height.

This text comes from the science textbook. We use superlative adjectives to describe and compare a thing with two or more things. We add "est" after the adjectives and add article "the" to the beginning of the adjectives. "The tallest living thing on the earth is the giant redwood in California." this sentence is comparing the giant redwood with the living thing on the earth.

Preposition

We use 'in' to describe a place. This sentence means what the sign's mean. We must not smoke in the shopping centre.

Mid-autumn festival

I had a unforgettable mid-autumn festival this year. First, we talked to the F.6 students after school. They were very kind and nice. Then, I had a meeting with the old friends in the evening. We talked about our school life respectively. It's amusing! Finally, we had a dinner together. I felt glad on that day. It's a extremely great festival!

My hobbies

Today, I am going to tell you my hobbies. I usually design the image by using the computer. I can learn some skills in the internet. I like taking and editing the photos, too. When I take some wonderful photos, I feel satisfied. Besides, I play volleyball with my brother every Sunday. We enjoy this activity very much!

Sports Day

We had a Sports Day last Thursday. Although I didn't join any competition, I still feel excited. We supported the red house member and spoke the slogan loudly. It's very magnificent. We will have the final in coming Monday. I am looking forward that day!

Improve!

We had a quiz yesterday. It was quite easy, but I was careless. We learnt many things this week. I think the most important things is the sounds of the letters. If we don't learn the sounds, we may don't know how to read the words. Therefore, I think it's very important.
